How to get a job

I downloaded this app just as a hobby I finished the c++ tutorials and I want to know what should I learn next since I want a job as a programmer, any advice is welcome.
Also I want to point I don't have a degree as a code engennier and because of personal issues I can't go to an university.

To get a job you need to learn (before or after) data structures and algorithms: big O notation, complexity, ordination algorithms like mergesort and quicksort .. you can find without problems free stuff on youtube and google about this topic

Julio Gimenez the overall quickest way to get into development is likely frontend web; build a small portfolio in Angular, React, or Vue and market yourself with it.

The way that will compliment your current skill set would likely be finding some c++ projects to volunteer time on and building up at least a small portfolio of your own work. I would recommend GitHub for said projects and portfolio hosting.

Also, take some time to ask yourself what you want to program and make. At the very least, it will help guide your career in a generally satisfactory direction as you progress.

If you want a short answer: do the Odin Project (Google it), you will learn all the necessary web development skills and build some nice projects along the way. As far as I know, this is the path you could take FOR FREE with the best job guarantee.
