Why only this use as computer language script ?

Is script play important role in programming? Why we code in only Roman script ( A-Z ), why not in other script such as Russian, Indic, Chinese, Japanese, Greek, etc

KunalšŸ…±ļø Most of don't understand but few understand and most of the people know English language and it is easy to read and write and interpret to the computer. That's why all programming are in English language.

AJ sir English is not a common language. Most of chinese, russian, latin american, african canā€™t understand it.

KunalšŸ…±ļø I believe it's because English is a widespread language as several countries only speak English. I know that a lot of people could argue that other countries don't understand it but a lot of places take english in school

KunalšŸ…±ļø there's a big difference between common and universal. Also, there are programming languages that are based on other languages than English. They're just much less used, because --guess what -- English is a very common language (especially among educated people; which programmers tend to be). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-English-based_programming_languages
