Use Vscode since you are a beginner Lot of tutorials on the web to help you set it up And by the way Vscode is popular so you get fast answer to your question

It depends on what you are trying to do, if you are using it for HTML, CSS, JS, C++, C#, Python, Ruby ect then it's great, just type "Visual studio code" in Google and it should show you the download page, if you prefer an ide which will run your code within the application yourself then download Visual Studio, same method as before. Note: you cannot run HTML, CSS, JS In VS
