Peter Smith I know programming bugs are annoying but hitting your screen will not get rid up them! Just kidding, haha, sorry about your screen. I hope you can get it fixed. For now try hooking it up to your TV assuming you didn't break that to. At least until you get your laptop repaired. Or buy new one if possible.

Peter Smith I'm not sure if you can make an entire mobile application in a phone. But there is a really good application which can be used for programming in c, c++, java, c#, python, etc. It is Mobile C ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dztall.ccr.android.admob ).
It also has its own terminal.

yeah, you can make apps with java, both front end and back end with only java. even multiplayer games with strong servers bro. you just need and engine to compile your code and give it an android database, like com.blabla.bla... But its only android apps. Use android studio. works in pc, i have it though. minimun of 4gb ram and windows 8 up. sorry for your laptop too

On android, yes but for ios, you need to use swift or objective-C

You can learn to make apps via this app. You can practice in the code playground. But what you can do will be limited. So you'll need an actual IDE to help you organise your projects, run tests, compile the code, format it correctly, and much more.

There are some android apps that allow you to create apps, but they are very limited in what you can accomplish. They are mostly No code / low code barely any actual programing is involved. They often lock all the features behind subscription. They are NOT worth in in my opinion. If you want complete freedom use a PC.

Peter Smith Yes you can make android apps using Java and Xml. For ios apps, you need to learn either Swift or any cross platforms like Flutter, React Native

Yes, Android studio uses java as a coding language.
If u want to make ios app then, go for flutter
Uts is a cross platform tool, which will skip your learning swift and x code.
