HTML British English - colour ?

Question

Is there a way to write HTML tags as 'colour' and 'bgcolour' i.e. British English rather than American English? Or do we have to stick to 'color'?

I've never seen it. The syntax of HTML is written in American English by the way, so should just work in American english "color"
