Don't freak yourself out. The gloomy sensation we get upon learning something new is normal, especially at times when we find difficulties in understanding some parts. Complete the course and revise as you find necessary. And practice often, nothing beats the learning road block like practice. The more you practice, the more you know and understand how stuffs work. Need an idea what to do for practice? browse the Code section. Plenty of inspirations may come from other people's codes.

Do you have a code related with this? I mean one that you're stuggling with? you can attach that code in your post Description so people can easily check it out, suggest or guide you. https://www.sololearn.com/post/75089/?ref=app Bottom line is, now that you know this is common, don't let yourself drown in it. You'll get through this, just like any other learners who already did 👍

Goddy It does not appear you started with the HTML, CSS and Javascript courses. The two courses you started with are easier to understand if you start with the three courses I just mentioned. Completing those courses, in the order I listed, should clarify concepts you are learning in the two courses you started.

Goddy Javascript can be complicated because it is taught like a programming language. It took me 3 months to learn it. And i'm still learning. But if you want to do things with the webpage. Then learn how to interact with the DOM. Then it will be easier to understand. https://www.w3schools.com/js/js_htmldom_methods.asp

Hi there! Before getting into web development you need to see a full roadmap to know what you should learn exactly: Follow this link to see a full frontend roadmap: https://roadmap.sh/frontend

Learning something new can be difficult, especially because web development uses three languages. Try starting with creating small webpages, that’s what worked out for me. Use just HTML/CSS in the beginning to make text, shapes, and decorations. When you’re done, add a button to make text appear and disappear. If the methods for this confuse you, refer either to the SoloLearn courses, or a website such as W3 Schools. Also, make sure you’re learning at you’re own pace - don’t try and create a website from scratch (that’s what I attempted, it didn’t go so well). Lastly, if there’s anything you need help with, feel free to post on the SoloLearn Q&A, or another website such as StackOverflow which is filled with experience coders who would be glad to help.

One more thing I forgot to mention, you may find it easier not to take the Web Development Fundamentals course and instead the individual HTML, CSS, and JavaScript courses. If you choose that instead, only complete the first few topics for HTML and CSS (and the full JavaScript course), because HTML/CSS are easier languages. Once you understand the syntax (the structure or grammar of code), you can pick up smaller things from other sources and implement them.
