Why 3 " sign , appears while 2 " is necessary in syntax

Each time we need to remove one " sign, time consuming

I mean we do code in " " but in sololearn when typing ", it automatically appears """ i.e. three double quotations and each time we need to remove one quotation plus create space to write code, which seems time consuming, it would b way better if " " appears when just " is typed.
