Suggest a good book for Java.. "Beginners"

Want a good book to start learning Java. I searched some books also in O'really Lab but those books contains a lot of literature.
Please suggest a short and well written book.

Java Programming lets you play with basic swing components (GUI) from the first chapters. For some people, graphic output is a big + for motivation.
