Post idea(s) for beginner project here

Question

(since my previous thread was deleted :( )

Post ideas suitable for beginner projects here. "suitable" means:
- should simple enough to implement, meaning should focus on one layer of a technology stack, i.e. no full stack implementation needed with database, backend, frontend, etc.
- can be implemented with knowledge about core functionalities of a programming language
- can be done within a few days but less than a week

@Michael Foster : I have no idea why it was deleted. There were so many good ideas. :( Just today I wanted to have a look at it, and they are all gone. :( I hope I didn't break any rules?
