I am assuming you want to know what an algorithm is. If it's not the case, please clarify this :) Informally, I think of an algorithm as a recipe. You get the ingredients, follow the instructions and get home-made food as a result. Computers are good at following orders (provided they don't hang XD). More formally , an algorithm is a finite sequence of well-defined steps that solve a problem. Whenever you fancy automating a process, creating a game or simply learn how they work, you'll be using or even writing algorithms. Think of them as part of your arsenal. Knowing some of them makes it easier to solve a problem, even before sitting down to code. Regards :D

Algorithm is a total of rules for a happening simply. you observe the sky or go to kitchen and make some tea, or walk in the street or write a game code. If you obey the order of the rules, it means if you use the right algorithm, things will occure as you wanted. But if you don't have a tea, then you should go to market and buy it. You can boil the water first or after. But without tea you can't make it. So, in algorithm, you have to obey the order of rules one by one to do something, but some orders, if they don't effect the result, can be used in different positions. This, my ideas about algorithm :)

algorithm is step's to solve a case or problem. you can assum the algorithm as process in activity from start until the end or the step of your activity is complete. simple as that :)
