Python can be used for a large variety of areas from networking, devops, web development, data science, desktop apps, and more. It depends on the particular use case, which libraries are helpful.

Abdul rahmon , if you are looking at the questions coming in stackoverflow, you can find a lot related to *pandas / dataframe*.

Right and if you tell me what is your goal with python, I can tell you which libraries to study. Your question was too broad, so you received a very generic answer. Anyway I work as a consultant, so "it depends" is a trademark answer, when the question is not specific enough 😁

Ion Kare Well a free book is hardly a scam. Learning from others' more advanced code can be very advantageous. Several months ago I first started learning code for creating music, Csound. I started by studying examples and then learned how to modify other people's codes to suit my own needs. Now I can easily write my own from scratch. If someone is creative, dedicated and has a specific goal in mind then studying other peoples code is a valid way to improve and can be very beneficial. Sure, if they're lazy enough to just copy and paste it won't help much. But in that case they're only cheating themselves. Music, speaking, programming - these are languages. We learn these initially by copying others. Then hopefully we study to learn how to develop these skills further.

Well this WAS my answer. As long as you cannot tell, what is your goal, I cannot tell you which module to learn, because every module has a specific purpose. Surely you can find online such sites that list the most popular libraries: https://www.interviewbit.com/blog/JUMP_LINK__&&__python__&&__JUMP_LINK-libraries/?amp=1 But it would be no use to tell you to learn Tensorflow, if you are not even interested in machine learning. So just go ahead and explore the opportunities, then choose a focus area where you can dig deeper into the particular libraries.

Ion Kare I have taught music to people of all ages for many years. I'm clearly far more advanced than they are. And yet they'll sometimes ask me a question, even young child beginners, and I learn something new, seeing something from a different perspective.

Abdul rahmon in this case I can recommend you this free ebook https://automatetheboringstuff.com/ It will give you a gentle introduction into some of the commonly used parts of the python standard library, as well as some external packages that are suited for very practical tasks you can do with python, including web scraping, image manipulation, working with excel or pdf files. And if you find this useful, you can explore the other eBooks of the same author Al Sweigart, most of them free, that explore further areas of Python. The website: https://inventwithpython.com/

Scott D im not saying all books are scams but that book is.. Saying a free book cant be a scam is invalid That book is full of information you can find on those geek for geek python sites. Book can easily been copy paste off some other site, this guy is still making money off a supposed free book . ""If he already knows python he will learn nothing"" The book is title ""automate boring stuff" And what do you get ??? Go read it yourself .. Go ahead read the book is theres something you dont know ?? everytime i see someone they point them to old source ... what happens when u learn old source , you write old code like learning python 2 when it python 3 now
