Question

Another one fake account abuse! By Hi-level Sololearner :-((( Number 82... oh! now 83? in global r. (all-time) https://www.sololearn.com/Profile/4179772/?ref=app See for yourself... his name is not in latin letters/symbols. He has used this account https://www.sololearn.com/Profile/4436479/?ref=app to challenge and maybe he even got that awfull "Epic!" badge! More than 60 (around 70) challenges won by him against his fake account (1:0, 1:0, 1:0 etc).

I think I got your point. Why don't you express your opinion to SoloLearn? And sorry, but I'm quite touchy about the comparison with the gestapo. That does not do justice to the victims of the gestapo.

@seamiki You know that our reports don't do more than appealing SoloLearn's attention to this. We still don't have clear rules what is allowed and what is not. So I'm only pointing to this. They will decide what to do.
And yeah, the likestorms. Some ppl have unlocked badges from this. Be sure SoloLearn knows about it. And they will take care of it if they think it's necessary. Report that, if you want to. The report option is available for everyone, feel free to use it.

Oops! He did it again, didn't he? https://code.sololearn.com/wVWDJY4n3O1e/?ref=app I think upvotes for his "Hello World" codes are from fake accounts too. It's easy to check from sololearn team, isn't it? 5 acounts 1 level, 0 followers etc... They upvote his codes just to get another badge. Bad user, bad...

@seamiki 1. I have always been against those "make a chat, please!" 2. This "unwanted behavior" in my opinionnis just bad, so not a GeStaPo, but a some kind of Police, no more than that. 3. Thanks for your advice to focus on learning but I want to do it in this fun way sometimes and sometimes I read books or study other courses. 3. It's fun for me to challenge and get a higher place while it's (given/earned) more for knowledge and less for cheating. 4. You obviously Do care about issues discussed here (likestorm mostly), 'cause you are taking part in discussion, and are showing us your opinion. We need not to fight, but to discuss different opinions. And after that there are three ways: to take it (as it is), to change it (too hard for us) or to leave it. If Sololearn will make a chat, I won't be using it. If there will be Badges/XPs for chatting I'll just stop (trying) challenging and crawling (to) leaderboard top :-) But "no cheating" anyway, please. If now it's not possible to prevent it, but already possible to presecute/ban it (afterwards) then I'll be glad to help. And yes this issues are up to Sololearn team, only they know the destination Sololearn is going...

For example, imagine yourself a new user who is interested in codes in playground. "What are they? What is possible to make here?" And he tries some higher rated codes... but "pfshshsss..." they are some bad/stupid things with fake upvotes. What will his experience (UX) be like?.. "There is nothing interesting", right? (I hope Sololearn at least a little bit interested in credibility).

Can I know what is the difference between that guy getting his badge cheating and a gui getting his badge joining the moderators in the likestorm game?
Did you "dare" reporting the mods or some of the mods' "friends(?)"?
If you didn't, then drop the GeStaPo uniform and focus on learning: that's what this platform is all about after all...
Let that user deal with his cheating, anyway he's not spamming nor causing any trouble to anyone.

@Tashi N I don't care about the user cheating as I don't care about likestorms: I don't like them and I don't join them. What really disturbs me instead, is this "one way gestapo activity" hype that "hunts for cheaters, plagiarists" instead of trying to find a way to improve a platform that needs a serious touch up (not some badges more....).
yesterday a moblike post against plagiarist with execution sqad locked and loaded.
I think you know my view about attribution and how I deal with it in case i deem it necessary.
Nobody mentioned attribution headers: Many forget to put a header and complain about their code being copied without attribution...
Bottom line this hysteric hype only lowers the educational level of the platform without introducing any benefit.
I think proposing changes from a user perspective to the dev team without wasting their time with useless witch hunts, is more important.
