Resources to learn math [books, android apps]

On the quest to learn programming I realized that I lack some math basics that would make my life easier when I decide to code. My choice in highschool was to go to the art branch so my last years of education I didn't have any math classes. The point is I want to get better and I dont know where to start. If you have any advice on books or apps I could use it would be of great help. (I have notions of basic algebra, but no more than that)

You can try using Khan Academy. I'm using it myself to brush upon some prerequisites for a course I'm interested in.

Similarly to you, I was okay in maths, but concentrated on arts, languages and such. Then, decades later when I felt like coding a bit, I realized: "Aaah, that's what you need it for!" (Physics would have helped as well.) Silently observing, seeing what people recommend.

I would recommend searching for school exam questions and books, from there, you can search for the lessons. Another option is to search for adult education classes, like they do at community centres.

Maybe Kishalaya Saha has an idea, too? He helped me out a bunch when I started, reminded me of stuff I'd long forgotten and taught me a bunch of new stuff as well.
