SUGGESTION to anyone who acheived a new badge/status/gained new level
This is a Q&A section as in Questions and Answers edit: @IMPORTANT since recent updates SoloLearn now allows you to share your accomplishment on your feed. simply follow the instructions on the link below https://www.sololearn.com/post/903/?ref=app i am sure you are very proud of getting a new badge or finally getting to Silver/Gold/Platinum status and cannot wait to share it with the rest of us, as well as i do not mean to diminish any accomplishment. but lately it seems as every 3rd post or so is dedicated for such manners, be it big or small. which bring me to my suggestion: you won a new badge or gained a level? make a code that shows you actually earned it!

I thought this was directed at me because of the tags 😄
Although, I have done this once. How do I make a code about this?

Let them have their party. I guess most of them are kids and it encourages them to keep on learning if they have their congrats. It's the same thing as liking your own posts, not really decent but nobody gets hurt.

@All
You have been called out.
alert ("Lets see those codes!!!!!!");

@Burey, Ofcourse I take it as a suggestion and it's good that you post this, because it should be done this way.
A leaner must explore it's creativity to make himself/herself feel proud that- "Yeah, I am a real coder 😎".
Thanks for posting, it actually remind me, where I am and also encourage me to make myself more better. 😊😊

Fully agree, but I'm not like you people 😐
I don't have much time to learn n making super cool codes like you guys do,
however, when I'll become a platinum member, I'll prove that I have earned that level. 🙂

I get the idea of this thread. It sickens me to see every third thread dedicated to 'celebrate' some minor achievement too. I don't mean to discourage anybody, but seriously - If this keeps up, we'll be seeing threads by people to congratulate themselves for successfully writing a "Hello World" code.

Celebration is okay somehow, as it encourages the beginners. But now-a-days some posts seem too meaningless. Like "How do you feel when this happens?", "What comes in your mind when that happens?" And obviously "this" and "that" are way too irrelevant to programming stuffs. It looks like people are getting too desperate to get upvotes and earn badges. And sadly it reflects on their posts that learning is being the less important issue here. Come on, it's Q/A after all. If the same posts were shared in StackOverflow, I wonder what would happen.

@informedmoon
you are not wrong, i do understand the need of some people to make such posts.
i just hope to encourage some to utilize what they have learned by actually showing the rest something other than another post.
i am also sure that whoever actually will make a code rather than a post and reap the compliments in the comments of his/her code will be much more satisfied with it ;)

@Siddharth You heard @Burey. "Make a code that shows you actually earned it!"

@Hatsy so we`ll have a lot of "Hello world" celebrations) Don`t think that ppl will go that(!) far, but Report Squad still here, watching, acting if necessary.... keeping Q/A as clean as possible

@Sachin, @imabadkidz
people have been posting celebratory post on every small achievment.
the purpose of this post was to remind that you are here to learn, and the best way to do so is by actually doing something with the knowledge you have gotten here.
@Sachin
it does not need to be a complex code or anything like that.
just something from your own creativity, maybe even utilize new knowledge you have gained to make the code.
again, this is merely a suggestion, and by no way is forced.

As much as I like this post, I must say I believe this is impossible to ask, the world has always been like this, it does not really matter to those who post their achievements to share what they have learned, but to share their achievements making them feel better or feel as if they are a bit better than those beneath them, I may or may not get a few hateful comments for saying this, but that is simply how stuff like this works for some people, far from all, but for some.
Personally I like the fact that I earn achievements, but for a personal benefit of for a personal competition with myself.
Havent you seen people post pictures of their dinner plates on facebook, I think they get the same feeling as people posting their achievements here?
but hey I may be wrong, thats just how I see it ;)

let me clarify something:
this is a SUGGESTION only
one of the reasons i made it was because there where maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany posts about any type of "achievement" and i hoped it will encourage people to make something of their own instead of merley informing us on every little thing.
seems that lately it gotten worse tho....
people posting achievements of others which normally would have been okay, but a by product of those is other spammy posts saying the exact same thing a few minutes later once the original post gains some traction.
what can i say.... spammers gonna spam...

I don't think I'm ready yet your post kind of made me feel like you are a little condescending but it actually provoked me into trying to make some better codes I've been not enough confidence not enough knowledge yet I'm still working on that but like to say thank you for the motivation because with all of the talk about the plagiarism and I don't understand exactly where the lines are drawn I went back and deleted a bunch of codes that I've been working on and I have been working on some more sense but I would love to post some codes but anyways what people are commenting on I mean I notice a lot of comments that a lot of the people that have got 20000, 30,000 and 40,000 points they getting a lot of those points from just telling someone thanks for liking my comment then they get like a hundred up votes on that comment and then they thank those and get a hundred up votes on those comments so I really I don't see where the big difference is on what somebody comments on or whether you got up votes or have you got any codes posted or not I mean just because you can put a code up there that looks like your work came from a professional web Development Corporation or something like that makes no difference but you've set the bar pretty high for the rest of us and it's going to be a little bit before I can get the confidence to be able to post something up there with yours and several others who have very professional-looking stuff not trying to actually say that what it is. It wouldn't matter having professionals to guide us wouldn't hurt a bit but anyways thank you for the intention it's actually helped in the long run. it made me feel a little uneasy at first lets say uncomfortable or something but thank you very much thanks to everybody else is being helpful in anyway hope it don't make anybody upset I'm not trying to

@Jafca
it wasn't directed at anyone specific XD
just randomly putting 42 tags to my questions
nothing suspicious ._.

Clarification:
any code is good.
if the code reflects some new acquired knowledge -> even better!
