python for web games

Question

Hi, I'm new to the world of programming, and I've been wondering if the Python language can really be used together with HTML5 and CSS to make web games. Could someone who knows about the subject please answer me?

To make a web game your most likely also going to need to learn javascript to make it interactive or add effects if you wanted to add events and things to actually happen (like moving an object) your probably going to need javascript.
