How do i run code from the text editor

Question

Im trying to conplete the if- segments section. I was told to use the text editor for it (im using sublime text) how can i run it to test my if statements, and any code i write in the future?

first you have to install. python interpreter on your PC/laptop....

then after you should know how to code in python ...

then open notepad...

write your code...

then save that in .py extension. (note that notepad is default in .try extension but after creating your program in that you have to change that extension to .py and then the computer will automatically come to know that you have written a OT him program..)...
