Coders who don't know how to search, will surely be replaced by AI. Learning is still safe, at least the machines are not going to hunt you down if you keep learning. 😉

Sudhakar Gorantla , At first, I was shocked how quickly AI can generate code and answer questions about code, but then I noticed that even though the answers looked slick, using good grammar and having a vocabulary that included programming terms, the answers almost always misused those terms in some way. And when I pointed it out, it always said something like, "You're absolutely right. My previous analysis was incorrect, because a frozenset is not considered a mapping in Python. Thank you for pointing that out." So basically, it still takes a human to recognize when slick-looking text is actually just gobbledygook. AI will only get better though, never worse, and there are plenty of engineers who seem hell-bent on programming themselves out of a job by improving AI, so eventually, it might get good enough to write meaningful, finished code. It's not there yet, IMO. For now, instead of asking it questions, I make it ask me questions to figure out. It's good enough for that.
