why does generative can not think as human mind

Generative AI does not think or understand. It's a very fancy program that uses your sequence of words to query other sequences of words and then it outputs the most probable results. It actually doesn't understand the content the way humans do.

The only creative aspect of generative AI is that it can generate a response based on creative content it has been trained on. It makes it look creative, but there is not any original thinking.

For that reason, it is possible for generative AI to actually make up incorrect answers or to completely misunderstand your requirements.

Here's an example.

I told ChatGPT: I wrote a book on Python for Non-Programmers. I need a cover image for my book.

It creates a great looking cover, but it displays it at an angle and it literally shows the cover design on a book that's laying on a surface. I want the useful graphic in a normal 2D image so I can use it in my project.

No matter how many times or what I said, I never got it to create the cover without also drawing a book and also positioning it an angle as if it's on a table or surface. I said things like "do not draw the book", orientate it head-on. Make it a print-ready graphic. I tried everything. It simple would not understand what it was doing wrong.

Sometimes it puts words on the graphic and the letters are mangled somehow. It doesn't realize these are not usable. I had it create a cartoon, again for use in my book, but the words it placed in the cartoon were mangled and smudged in places. Why? Who knows. I had to manually erase those parts and put them in myself using Photoshop.

AI is not smart the way people are.

Because human minds are creative and any AI cannot inherit that creativity in them. Generative AI are still in their beginning stages it will take several decades to happen such a thing. This is why humans are humans due to their creativity.

Because a large language model is not even close to have the same complexity as a real human brain.
