At which age did you start to program?
Programming turned 70 this week! 🎂 April 12th, 1947: ENIAC, the world's first general-purpose programmable electronic computer, ran the first code written in the modern paradigm, marking the birth of computer programming as a profession.

💻Started playing around with Visual Basic at age 12.💺 Dropped out of high school to go to college at age 16. 📝Went to college for some programming fundementals, ASP.NET 2.0 and C#. 🏢Got a job at a start up company around the age of 19 working with a group of programmers doing C#, ASP.NET, SQL to make a facebook like website for businesses. 💸CEO of the company screwed up the companies finances by spending more then the shareholders invested. 📉Company went under 2 years later. 🛂Then got a job working loss prevention at Lord & Taylor. ❓Completely forgot about programming💡 till last month (April 2017).
💻And here's to hoping it's not to late to get back into it at age 29!👈😊👍

@Gavin Christians @AtK 🙏 Thank you guys! Your words mean a lot to me.
@⏩ The Coder ™️ I wish the best for you! Just keep at it! Once you've chosen a language to master (if you haven't already) I'd recommend to start creating a portfolio📂 of projects you've created for potential employers. This is what I plan to do as well since I'm in a similar job predicament.

I didn't start learning my first programming language until 2 years ago and it started with an introductory course in Visual Basic at my local college. I'll be taking an advanced visual basic course next semester as well as JavaScript. I'm currently working on Java.
I messed around with some coding in my early teens via Blizzard games' map editors and RPG Makers.

Everyday there is a new thing in programming. Therefore you have always to learn something new and don't look at when you did first learn and this is a fact if you agree with me.
