How to Make a Music Bot for Discord Using Python in 2025 (Please Don’t Ban Me, I’m Just a Student)

So.. 2025 is here, and I feel like doing something big. I want to make a Discord music bot for my small server of 5 friends. Nothing crazy—just a simple, cool bot to vibe with. I’m thinking of building it using Python. But, you know how things went with bots like Groovy and Rythm—they got taken down because of YouTube’s API policies. I don’t want to wake up one day and see I got banned from here too (please, no bans, I’m just trying to learn). I want to make sure the bot follows all the rules, stays legal, and avoids piracy or any trouble. Ideally, it should be able to play a decent range of songs—maybe from Spotify, YouTube, or other sources that work in 2025 without stepping on toes. Nothing shady, just for learning and having fun with my friends. Also, I’m 16, just a student trying to figure things out and level up my coding skills. If anyone knows how to make this happen or has advice, I’d love to hear it. This platform is all about learning and sharing knowledge, right? So, please help me THANKS!
