A good programming language to start is Python. It is easy to learn, but still powerfull.

I think sololearn is good starting point. It gives the basic. Many people here are in the same situation that you are, so we can help each other.

most of the courses here are really well geared toward the beginner. As to what course, it depends on what you want to do with it. I enjoyed the C# course, and python was mentioned. if you want front-end maybe more JavaScript or HTML. happy coding!
