Sololearn without Google services
I installed the app but there was an error. When I tried to launch it it said this: "Check that Google Play is enabled on your device." Are there any ways I can use this app without Google? I have a Huawei phone and this company is in a soft economic battle with Google. Thx

Years ago there are many budget phones use AOSP (Android Open Source Project), which doesn't come with Google Play Services which provide such as Gmail and Play Store.
I read articles / videos described how you can install Google Play Service on those devices.
Here is one of search result I found:

I would suggest to research if your model support before doing so, because newer phones from Huawei use their own OS (claimed developed independently, but I doubt it mostly bases on AOSP)

Hello Антон Шмырев! 👋
You said that you can’t run the app because of the google play service, I may know the reasons why:
First, Sololearn supports both apple and google sign-ins, known as email. But since you are using a “Huawei” phone, it doesn’t support IOS software (known in apple devices such as iPhones), which signing in with apple is out of the question.
Seconds, it wants you to install the service because if the app uses an email sign-in, it’s mostly likely related to the google engine. Without installing it, then the email sign-in is out of the question.
Without both of these sign-ins, it’s futile to run the app.
(NOTE: This may be the issue, but also may be something else)
Hope this helps! 😁

I understand, and I know that it is possible to install Google Play. But I don't need it. I don't use Google's services, and I have no plans to use them in the future.

I don't understand why this app is linked to Google.
