Is AI taking over when it comes to coding?
I just asked AI to make a basic code for movement using C++ and itâs actually pretty decent. Is there even an a point to learning the code anymore as itâs always been my dream to make creations come to life

Hello Elijah Phillips! đ
As you stated in the question: âI just asked AI to make a basic code for movement using C++ and itâs pretty decentâ.
To be honest, AI can make good codes, but they are like ChatGPT (Generative Pre-Trained Transformers), some codes may have errors in them, depending on what code you generate. for example:
Letâs say I told AI to create a basic code to tell me how to create a python, simple chatAI code. It will build it, but has some bugs to it.
Not if your telling AI to creating larger codes, it will try to make it, but will fail itâs task due to response limit and is more prone to make plenty of bugs in the code (sometimes if the task is to difficult or AI reads it as a âHuge Taskâ, it will sometimes make an entirely different code you arenât expecting).
Basically in short, AI is pre-trained. it will give you an answer, but not a definite or accurate one (especially when creating codes)
Hope this helps! đ

I think in some parts AI will take over, because AI can code faster than humans. I don't think that jobs will be at risk because you still need the creative thinking and problem solving of humans.

If AI took over,
Most of the population shall be unemployed.
Which shall destroy the countries economy
So I think even if AI attains that kind of power. Goverment must put strict regulation in it..
And why getting scared at first place? AI will take everyone's job not just yours. So have fun!

I even if you are using AI, you should understand the problem yourself before asking AI, and you be able to interpret or understand the code presented by AI. That's where your problem solving skills comes in.
