How to become a perfect java developer

Question

i want to learn hadoop, Android e.t.c.,.... So i want to be perfect in java in short period....what can i do?

@nirup i think it would help if you can explain what you dont understand about them in seperate *new* questions. (one question for methods another for constructors)

I dont know much about Java but in c++ they are not related subjects. anyway just my 2cents

Read Java books and OOP books about patterns and OOP design, build something, read code by people who are better than you. Learn UML. Learn and practice algorithms and data structures. Go and write more and more code. Plan your projects properly.

There is more. Make sure you understand how the JRE works and how Java is compiled. It improves your ability to debug and allows you to write more performant code.
