rgba and gradient

I can't anything about rgba and gradient... Anyone can give any other link of tutorials for this topics?

'rgba' notation is the classic rgb one ( red, green, blue) composite color definition, adding a 4th parameter for opacity ( transparency -- 'a' stands for 'alpha channel ). While r, g and b are expected integer values between 0 and 255, alpha channel define opacity by a floating point number between 0 and 1 ( 0 transparent, 1 opaque, 0.5 semi transparent ). 'gradient' use different color stop values, defined by css colors units ( rgba, rgb, hewadecimal, hsl, and so on... )
