What does your level on Sololearn mean to you?

I would like to know what you think. I just reached Level 12. I also want to thank everyone, for helping me get this far!! Here is a code. https://code.sololearn.com/c9LIOvuauqq7/?ref=app

I'm at level 11 now, and will still mainly say Python, and some C++ with a good amount of experience prior to being here. The other languages I'm just familiarizing myself more with them, while still working practical examples from other text books for my main languages. So for me, you could probably say just look at my individual language certificate's experience points, and you can begin to see the resemblance to my own skills

I agree with @Tashi N, my level means only my activity on SoloLearn... seriously, i'm 13 (-100XP to 14lv), but there are many programmers better than me at lower levels, (I.e @Gavin Christians, @Thomas Hj and so on...) Anyway, congratulation for 12lv! ^_^

It shouldn't mean so much but to be honest I check the standings quite often.

For me, Although it does not reflect a users skill. It shows progress.

Your Level is basically your overall XP. that shows how far you've gone with their app.

Read further at your own risk (of seeing my shame) I'm 4 pts from Level 5. Pitiful, possibly, but only if I focus on what that doesn't mean. However, I zero in on what it does mean: that I haven't quit and that I know more about the world of programming each time I work this app. Currently, I'm immersed in C++ (mainly because my teenaged son tried to convince me C++ was too hard for me, "a nube"). Recently - like tonight - I began expanding my reach and now I'm working on C# too, since they are so related....at least as far as I've gotten (maybe the latter half of the joke is on me). HTML & CSS, along with SQL are next on my menu. So, yesh, my level is just a number that represents to me my personal commitment to keep learning. Done. Ha, no shame! Ah, I brought it up. Okay, now that lame arrives. Such a dame. Isn't that the worst game? Where or where is that gorgeous Old Maid? To throw plenty, plenty thorough shade. On it. Hun-T.

Lol, Tashi, so true! I don't pay attention to my level, so any increase I notice comes as a pleasant surprise. 😆
