Difference between C# and C++?

So I heard JavaScript and C# is used for making games, I've been taking the C++ course and I'm wondering what's the difference between the two?

@James Allen so if you were to make a 3d game, C++ is mainly used?

@James Allen I want to use unity so does that mean I should learn C# instead of C++?

JavaScript can be used with html5 canvas. C++ is the standard for most 3d games C# is simliar to Java not JavaScript and is used for development for Microsoft platforms

You can use C# with unity engine but C++ is the standard still. For C++ checkout unreal engine
