Do i need to make website theme for training ?

i am really want to be good website designer. how can i training so it like reallity in the real project #sry-bad-eng

1.Start from building a static website only using html and css.
2. Next add javascript functions to your website.
3. Next convert to php website.
4. Next add Mysql data storage features to your website.
5. Use Ajax to update your website which involves javascript, php and mysql working to each others.

Once you have successfully built the above php/mysql site, only then you should consider building website theme like WordPress, Jomla etc.
