Do we need to be good at maths to program?
The majority of people are afraid of programming because they think it's too difficult and that they have to be good at math to program. Thank you for clarifying the question in order to make them understand what It takes to become a programmer.

meh. I am not great at math. thats why math invented calculators and the internet.
I think it is important to understand the concepts behind the math though but you don't have to be a math whizz kid to program at all. (But it would help alot, thanks brain 😡)

yes ,math helps to improve programming skills

Maybe it's not required to be good at higher math and special parts, but beeing good at simple school course gives you an advantage to create projects and solve problems more quickly.

We need good math in case, when work with bigarray or phisical data. In general, at front-end it's not so important

math is not so important but the logic that forms is important in a way to make us understand

If you are super smart and not a lazy person u won't work hard to program step by step
the program we see today is not as the one at the beginning
it has grown step by step to the modular era

i think it's not a must, but there are tons of times you have to play arround with numeric values to make some specific stuff. Higher math skill means faster codding in that cases, but if u suck at it you can always play arround or look for help at Google or forums so it's simply a little more time.

Math is essential for problems that are Math intensive (example: trigonometry in game rendering).
For other purposes Math is not too important though it is helpful.
In other words it depends on what you want to build.
