Couldn't learn Python

I've completed Python 3 course here on SoloLearn. I've zero to no idea what I've learnt and how I can put any of that to pratical use. Does anybody here by any chance belong to my category ?

There was a time I belonged to your category and well, now I am not an expert but still learning. I suggest you try other online courses like coursera, edx, codeacademy, interactive tutorials etc,. There are plenty of free sources of available in the internet for learning python. Just make use of these and start with simple scripting. Then go for learning advance stuff. Don't stop learning.

In the courses you can just learn the basis. Pyton uses many libraries, you will need a compiler and continue on learning to use your basic knowledge. HTML is easier to use and produce something. I like Ruby but i can't find out how to use it!

With HTML you will start producing a static document, then with CSS you will add colors and then with JavaScript interaction.

just focus on challenging people in your rating bracket. if you can't get above 1000 maybe find a youtube video or second resource and also go thru the course again, more slowly this time. the official python tutorial on python.org is pretty good, I would revisit every lesson you did on sololearn but in somebody else's words. but don't be discouraged it says im number 1 in the United States and anything with the regedit or reversing arrays that stuff is still tricky for me. of course there's higher rated guys who breeze thru it with flying marks but they have literally years under their belt. and you don't know the frustrations they went thru at your stage, not knowing if they are really cut out for the coding world or just wasting time

No better way than training yourself. If you find that difficult, try taking some of the Trending codes, filter out Python and learn on others' ideas. Sometimes they contain extensive comments which help you to understand the code.

Programming is self taught. No one can teach you programming but yourself. You have just read an story of python. untill you code the story and watch it, it will just be memory of words.
