How to be a better programmer?

I want to be a better programmer and help making difficult tasks easy for all people? What are the challenges faced by beginners and how to overcome it? What does professional programmers do to design new programs or apps and how much daily coding is sufficient to be a professional programmer?

If you don't have much experience you should try to make some basic applications. It will help you understand the language better then when you just read tutorials.
