Newbie who needs some guidance!

So I've taken the dive into this crazy world, with a very lacklustre knowledge of html from 10 years ago. I decided to do the small html course first and I'm pushing through the Python course to hopefully learn the basics from there. I'm curious to know what small projects I could undertake to become more fluent when actually typing code and to experiment with my new knowledge as it comes? I'm open to all suggestions, please remember I'm new, so some words or phrases I may not understand. Thank you!

For HTML, try designing a new page, and each time you learn something new use it in your page. for Python, I found many challenges online ranging from totally beginners to experts with subjects not covered here.
