JavaScript vs C#

what are the differences in the language? I'm a C# developer but new to JavaScript but can see very few differences can you help?

if you are a C# programmer, and if you have done MVC Then i could simply say that JavaScript is the V side of things and C# is the C side of things

javascript is the de facto programming languages for the web in the client side and the server side (nodeJS) also very kind with some data format like json

Krishneel thanks for your reply but again I think you like others are missing my question. I understand the 'view' and 'controller' side but I'm interested in the syntax side to my question? what are the differences?
