PHP Challenges

Question

Why PHP Challenges are not Web Development oriented? They more inclined towards mathematics as it seems in other Challenges. I may be wrong, please share your views.

Perhaps they have to be, given the restrictions of the Sololearn platform.
Most of the web based php I've done revolved around cleaning up data/user input, database access and APIs; none of which are availabe in Sololearn.
Maybe a good evolution would be to provide a read only database with a predefined set of test tables.
