Sololearn Update Suggestions

-add a condition to automatically delete a post if there's more than or equal to 5 downvotes -give the option for a user to make it's codes public and runnable but hide it's code. The user should be able to choose to either show his code or hide it. -give the option for a user to ask permission to view another user's code and if that user gives permission, only then can that user view the source code -set a minimum level (e.g level 5) for a user to be in order to post a question. It can also be a certain XP level -add an event that triggers when a user is trying to post a question that has already been posted. This event should first alert the user that there's already a question like this and if he still wants to post his question or go to the question that has already been posted. -increase maximum time limit for console codes to run

I gave feedback from app and email both.. when i gave from app this is what i got :- "Thanks for reaching out. We are currently working on automating the process, yet, happy to hear some great fresh ideas. We all want SoloLearn to remain a friendly and just community that supports the learning path of every individual, be it a total beginner or an advanced user."

️➕To add to your second to last suggestion: I hope they could make the, 'ask a question', input box work more like a search input box. With a exception. If there is no search results of questions already asked; then ᴍᴀᴋᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ᴜsᴇʀ ᴀᴡᴀʀᴇ that other similar/exactly-the-same type of questions ᴇ͟xͯ͟ɪ͟s͟ᴛ͟, a͟f͟t͟e͟r͟ the user t͟y͟p͟e͟s͟ their question, b͟e͟f͟o͟r͟e͟ it's posted, n͟o͟t͟ a͟f͟t͟e͟r͟ it's p͟o͟s͟t͟e͟d͟. 🤔Sorry if that's a insanely long run on sentence!😁

@Nikhil That's why we have no powers. SoloLearn thinks this could happen I guess, they don't trust us. But I think if that happened, the other mods would report the mod who abused his powers ^^ So, I don't see why mods shouldn't have more powers.

For first option, increase downvote count from 5 to > 10. Else, it will most certainly be abused (multi-account). For last option, I don't think SL has a choice. 😂

Make the output "select and copy"able. Some of my codes are complementary to each other. So this would definitely help a lot :)

@Nikhil ^^ Let me sketch the scenario: Let's say, I become mad, report for no reasons or post inappropriate content suddenly. It would take a few minutes until one of the other mods would notice. They'd ask me immediately if I a were crazy and would tell me to stop. [More likely they would tell me someone hacked my account (malware or something, in that case I myself would ask them to block my account).] That would be handled in less than an hour ^^

There needs to be a seen difference between a user having the mod badge and a user having privileges of a mod. Being on SL for 30 consecutive days and getting the mod badge should not guarantee granted privileges to that user. If that were the case, it would give trolls a motive. Now.. Maybe an update that automatically submits a user's account for review when it comes to whether or not privileges can be trusted with the user.. that sounds more promising when it comes to SoloLearn and trust. When it comes to accounts that have not been known to act on impulse.. I'm with @Hatsy on this one.

@Setiawan think if one mod got mad or dislikes someone, then what will happen to the other person if he/she hasn't done any mistake

@Setiawan : I am not saying mods are not calm or they are crazy ..I was just giving an example if the power comes in ones hand then what would happen

@Gavin I think since 3 mod reports would remove a post, 5 mod downvotes is kinda... you get what I mean. Perhaps alter it to become - If there are more than 5 downvotes, one mod report can censor the post instead of 3.

Tbh, if SL thinks certain mods would go rogue all of the sudden, then mod status should not have been granted to that specific user in the first place. Since the contents are censored instead of deleted, SL can always uncensor posts which are not rightfully censored and ban the rogue mod, in case it happens. It wouldn't cause the community much harm. Back then in some other server, we had a /!revert command which reverts actions done by a user for a specific span of time. If SL devs implement something similar, there would be no worries about abusive mods.
