What do you guys think about the eclipse IDE vs Visual Studio for C++?

In one of my courses, we're running a VM with Eclipse and I'm so used to visual studio so I just want to be aware of some of the main differences

CLion is developed from JetBrains (the creators of IntelliJ Java IDE) not from Intel!

Visual studio has a better debugger and the amazing intellisense

does eclipse only run on Linux environments?
and never heard of CLion but I'll check it out!
