K, got two questions for you. Php vs Js? And also, help with a code that doesn't work on mobile.

Two codes in reference here. https://code.sololearn.com/WEC1l92mZ1wi/?ref=app < This one, works on Pc, but not on mobile and I dont understand why. Any help would be appreciated. Original credit to Tim G. The second more of general question. For saving data, ie. a user profile, and/or stats for a game, would you guys recommend PHP, or are there ways to do this with JavaScript/Cookies đŸȘ alone? PHP wud be a new language for me to learn. Interested tho > https://code.sololearn.com/Ww7BpILobq58/?ref=app

php and js are totaly different, but as I guess you can do server stuff with node js. Also you can save data even with html5,but not here.
