Which is the best for java : Eclipse or NetBeans?

I have been using NetBeans but later switched to eclipse.... Many of my friends said NetBeans is better but I kind of like eclipse...

Note that none of them actually is a compiler. Both are IDEs that depend on the Java SDK. In fact, you could develop by writing your code in vim and compiling it with javac on the command line.
