If you're really just starting, I'd recommend trying out some things in the Playground first

You can write your own code in the Playground. To go there
On phone: Go to your profile and click 'Codes' and then + to add a new code
On web: Click Playground and then My Codes

You can use "eclipse neon". But to use it, you need to first install JDK: Java Developement kit .
