What is best language for career?

i want to know what is best language for career that is in demand. i should go for website development or should go to make softwares

@Daemo is right. It is to general knowledge, however, that: Web development: HTML, CSS, JS Software: Depends on what kind of software. General-purpose programming languages include C++, Java, Python, etc. What can be done in a language can also be done in another language but your employer may have a preference as to what you should use.

I would suggest looking at local job vacancy websites or talk to recruiters to see what is in demand in your area as the answer I give may not apply to you

There's no such thing as best programming language for a career. the right order for language selection is the following: problem - solution - solution description in meta language - selection of programming paradigm - selection of programming language best fitting to paradigm requirements serious programmer/coder needs to know ANSI C - the mother of all tongues. other languages are just C derivatives (at least in terms of principles) selected in accordance to the above process. C is difficult therefore always sought for. As for other languages use a search engine - all statistics are on the web. good luck IMO if you know we'll Assembler (processor programming language) and ANSI C you're very, very hard to beat and numerous areas of IT applications remain wide open.

if you want to make a career in games then start from Macromedia of adobe flash. Its pretty much easy..
