Can I create apps with html, css and JavaScript ?

Question

I was surfing the playstore and came across a app that says create apps with html,
I used it and it really does what it says (but it's kinda lame) and there is also an app called phonegap which claims to be able to build apps with HTML ,
so is it really possible to create apps with HTML ?

with pure HTML - I don't think so, but with JS absolutely. Starting with simple single page applications till as far as your imagination can go 😃

even Android sdk -- widget​ contains a WebView which helps to view html files inside a app.
