x*(2/5)+x = 35 7/5*x = 35 7x = 175 x = 25 , ther are 25 boys girls = 35-25 or 25*2/5 = 10.

What she Said :- Hey guys, great discussion! Since you asked, thought will share what we here at SoloLearn think :) We believe that professional discussion and fun are equally important for great learning experience. Yet, when one gets in the way of the other, it can certainly get destructive :) So we are working on separating the two... Stay tuned for updates!

Let's elaborate it b+g=35 =>2b+2g=70 g=0.4b =>2b-5g=0 =>7g=70 =>g=10.

@Caleb Jore Although this one being a simple math problem, Challenges can be refreshing in the stagnant Q&A section: it's a common parctice introduced by moderators. I think it would be better to dedicate your efforts towards the celebration posts/"chat" threads/meanigless questions and all the much worse stuff in Q&A if you are concerned. There is also the part relative to cleaning the spam within the comments in the courses, in case you feel a reporting frenzy coming up.
