Is making a big game possible by c++?

Actually c++ is the basic language that builds the game engine and can also be used inside the engine for programming by the user... But if u target making GTA 5 kinda thing after learning the whole of c++... its definitely not gonna work... Start with some game engine NOW!!!
I recomment UNITY due to many reasons... U will enjoy surely...
