In which cases java is not a good choice of programming language

hello guys I want to know that what are the disadvantages of Java.

as every one knows that java is a popular language but in some cases java is not a good choice. whenever we are system application where performance is very critical then java can not be a good choice because java has slow performance as compared to old languages(such as c or c++).

please share your idea if one has better than this.
