If your looking for a text editor, brackets and sublime are nice. If your looking for more of a CMS (content management system) a couple big ones would be like wordpress or pagecloud, theirs a ton out there. It would be more beneficial for you to do a search online and compare yourself and see which CMS would be best for you

Check out adobe muse, it's a software that allows you to build a website with a style similar to photoshop or illustrator, and you can also write pieces of code. What you get in the end is the html and css files ready to upload on the server. For what I know it can give some browser compatibility issues so I would suggest you to build up your websites in pure html and css so you cam hav the full control of the result, and it's much more fun!
