In which feild python is used for ? Should i go for python after c++ language ?

I just want to know in which feild python is used , I heard that its very helpful in hacking feild , is that true ?

C++ for PC programmes or applications. Python for web based and relatively small applications and hacking. Specialise in both to understand the whole thing.
