On work days: Ë7,5h a day
My work days are 8 hours long, with a half hour lunch. Those days, I don't have the energy to come home and code some more, except maybe on some rare days.
Other days (like now, as I'm unemployed), it ranges from an hour up to 10 hours with an average of 3 hours. On top of that, I spend an additional 1-2 hours a day on research and learning, which I count SoloLearn as, too. It can be learning a programming language, some libary/package or a tool, or other things that are not about coding but have to do with development, like VR/AR or electronics.
So on a good day at home, I spend abut 5 hours working, of which 3 is just straight up coding. There are times when I get obsessed with a project and code for 10 hours straight, forgetting to even eat (which is not recommended - you should always be at the top of your game physically and mentally, so always sleep and eat well). But I have lazy days too when it feels like I get nothing done, but I try to at least spnd an hour doing something. That's my minimum.
More important than the amount is the productivity, in my opinion. It's no use spending all day doing somnething if you're not either learning something or getting something done. That's why I focus a lot on being a productive worker and learner.
