Badges, win/loss record, experience, followers?

I see alot of people that are going for experience, followers, badges and wins in challenges but alot of people don't realize that in computer science none of this matters. what matters is actual skill which can only be obtained from writing programs and debugging them. Having alot of followers or a high level in SL doesn't mean anything if you cant write a program.

I agree .Because xp can be easily increased in sololearn by wining badges and challenges and those all don't require much logic . But coding requires a lot of logic and creativity. And that's what's needed for a successful coder or a programmer .

well said n very true, when I first joined Sololearn my goal was to have many points, but after sometime I started following someone who had actually lost more challenges then the ones he had won. And the funny part was I was getting pissed after losing a challenge. But now I wake up, I do it for learning not getting points and more followers. Thanks man people should be reading this post.
