Should I start with c++ or c# first?

I just started this little adventure, and will be working with my ten year old son on learning coding. Any advice on what I should start with? He's really into this type of stuff, and knows some things about it. I don't know crap about it, but I think this will be something we can do together, and have fun with it. I just don't know where to start. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ah... Ok. Now I see why the options. So, if you are going to be programming games in Unity, C# is my suggestion. Good coding, for you and your son!

Hello @Chris, In my opinion, if you do really, really, really have to start with one of C++ or C# I would suggest you to start with C#. And the reason is because C++ can be more low level (and by that I mean more complicated). But, using sololearn as a tool to start is a good choice because it explains the basics of both languages and doesn't go to low level. If you do have other choices, I would suggest Python. It is much, much easier than both C++ and C#.

Thank you Cruz. I've downloaded 6 or 7 of the tutorials, and python is on that list. my hope is to touch on a little of all of them through the summer, but I'm just not sure which ones I should focus on most, and I want this to be fun. I don't want to overwhelm him, or myself. He's got a descent desktop, and we'll use it in combination with sololearn. I plan on downloading vs community, and he has a unity program, that has really spiked his interest in coding. I think it's a game maker of sorts. I probably sound like an idiot, but that's all I know about it so far.
