Is hp pavilion 14-AL143TX 7th gen intel core i5 7200U good Notebook for web development ?

what is minimum specification for laptop or notebook for web development project.

It's an overkill. I can do the same things you do on that model with twice (or more) lower the specs. As long as a laptop is decent enough for you to type on without stuttering every 5 minutes, it's good enough for programming IMO. Unless you are also a gamer / do video editing stuff with heavy graphics, there is no need to aim for heavy specs. My gear: Intel Atom (quad, 1.33GHz), 2GB RAM, 32GB eMMC.

HDD is slow. I prefer speed over capacity, but it is up to you. You can buy a laptop with HDD, and then get the technician to slot an SSD in it

i3 4th generation would be good as well. It's web development not Unreal Engine :'D For web I bought laptop that don't even have a discrete gpu and its blazing fast. (For Unreal Engine I have gaming tower pc obviously)

Something like an i5 (standard), 4gb/8gb (If you will be touching graphics) RAM, 256GB SSD (Yes, get it!) will do.

4gb is enough if you don't want your laptop for gaming .
